As you may know, Mirabella at ASU residents get complimentary tickets to Sun Devil Athletics events, with the exception of football and men’s basketball. However, we do occasionally get tickets to specific football games or special Sun Devil Athletics events, like the 2021 Sun Devil Football Kickoff Luncheon hosted by the Tempe Chamber of Commerce at Sun Devil Stadium on August 26.
Now that students and staff are returning from summer break, we get to explore more of the Tempe campus and meet faculty from across ASU’s 17 distinct colleges and schools! The ASU Drone Studio is one of many destinations within the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering that we’ve been eager to learn more about.
Since opening in 1964, Gammage Auditorium has been a crown jewel in the Arizona performing arts scene and architectural landmark at ASU. Designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, Gammage is named after past ASU president Grady Gammage, who envisioned a distinct university auditorium with the capacity to host renowned arts and cultural performances from around the world.
If I had to list the top 5 coolest places on the ASU Tempe campus, the Interdisciplinary Sciences & Technology Building 4 (ISTB4) would definitely make the cut. ISTB4 is home to the School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE), the 250-seat Marston Space Exploration theater, the Center for Meteorite Studies (including their incredible vault of thousands of meteorites), and several major labs—many with large windows so you can peek in and watch the scientists work. Located on the east side of campus, the ISTB4 is about a 20-minute walk from Mirabella, so we took our Mirabella shuttles to get there.
Mirabella at ASU residents receive free admission to all Sun Devil Athletics events with the exception of football and Men’s basketball. We have a great Sun Devil Athletics rep who has already been helping residents secure season tickets and even VIP seating where you can enjoys the games in style.
We are looking forward to cheering on our Sun Devils at our first game against Southern Utah on September 2nd!
